Can i dye my hair 2 days in a row?

't dyed my hair honey blonde yesterday and my hair was blackish brown, but it didn't come out as Bright as the blonde. so i was wondering could i dye it again today? i read stories about hair falling out but EVERYBODY hair is different. so a little advice please!!! And i am african american if that helps..
