If i reach my plateau WHAT DO I DO NOW??? im not getting results?
First of all, don't focus so much on your weight, but on your body fat percentage (BF%) as well. If weight increases and BF% doesn't or drops, you are adding desired muscle, lean muscle. Fat is burned uniformly throughout your body, but we store more of it in our belly and for ladies in the hips. For starters your weight training should consist of a circuit routine targeting chest, upper back and upper legs. To focus on a "fat burn" you should choose weights that allow you to perform between 20-25 reps of each exercise for one cycle or circuit, and 3 to 5 circuits. Cardio should consist of low intensity cardio so you emphasize the use of fat for energy and not muscle. Keep your heart rate below 140, or just dont let yourself get so out of breath you could not carry on a conversation. If you feel that burning sensation in your legs when you do cardio you are going to hard. To really answer this question I need to know more about what you are doing and eating. Feel free to drop me a line on my website, www.fitchoice.webs.com. Oh, make sure you are eating breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a healthy snack here and there. Don't skip meals or avoid healthy carbs.
