Did hollister sizes change within the past couple years?

Cos I went to goodwill yesterday and found a cute hollister top, but it looked sorta old, it was medium and it fit fine, but today i went to hollister and picked up a medium top & it didn't fit, but the large sorta did? & it was the same exact style of top! Help ):
