A small group of blisters on upper ankle, what is it?

Why is my (Emachine T6536 desktop) better than my (Dell Precision m4400 laptop)?

People just simply do not understand computers that well. I have older computers that run faster than new computers. It all boils down to the architect of the motherboard, not what is installed hardware wise and also affected by the software installed. Windows can be fast on one computer and slow on another. Not much can be done to make two computers run just as fast as each other, there are too many variables involved and very difficult to track down what is behind what is happening. You could get hundreds of answers, yet not a single one of them would make both computers run the same. It just isn't possible. You could even have two identical computers, yet one would run faster than the other. They both have different Processors, one is AMD and the other is Intel, that does make a difference.

How do you get rid of the dots on my skin after shaving?

I realised that I have these red dots ages ago when i first shaved obviously I shaved wrong, it was like lumpy red dots. After a while or months a didn't shaved and now it's turn brown or it looks likw chicken skin when you pluck the feathers out. I don't know how tio explain it but how do you get rid of it?. I've just been started on a small amount of medication for a 'mild' hypothyroidism. Am taking LETROX 50, 1pill a day. Home Theater amp and speaker setup questions?

Hey, I have a few questions about amp and speaker set up. I have a Harman Kardon AVR- 135 reciever. I have 5 speakers, Front (L&R), Surrounds (L&R), a center, and a powered subwoofer. When I turn on my reciever and try cranking it past -21, it goes into protection. I think I've figured out the problem, the front and surrounds are EACH 8 ohms. My reciever specs are Front (L & R) 40 Watts per channel @ <0.07% THD, 20Hz – 20kHz into 8 ohms, and surrounds 40 Watts per channel @ <0.07% THD, 20Hz – 20kHz into 8 ohms. So I have 2 fronts that are 8 ohms each, and two surrounds that are 8 ohms, so how would I wire the speakers so the amp doesnt over load. Internet lags very strangely?

Hi, I have comcast internet and my cable modem is also connected to a wireless router. Lately, my ping has been jumped very quickly from 15 to 30 to 60 to 100 and then back to 15, very consistently. Does anyone know a cause of this? At first I thought someone was stealing our internet (even though it is encrypted) but I directly connected my computer to the modem without the router and still had this non-traditional lag, so I no longer think this is the problem. I have never encountered a problem like this, where my latency would fluctuate so quickly, while usually if I am "lagging" it stays at a high latency, but is consistent at that latency. Do you think it is a problem with my ISP or maybe like a virus on my host computer? Thanks.

Orphaned 1 day old baby mice?

Earlier today I was cleaning out my garage. I bumped the big storage bin that we keep our dog food in and for some reason I just happened to turn around and look inside. There were 3 mice inside. I looked closer and realized that one was a mama mouse and she had 2 young ones that appeared to be a few weeks old. Then, in one corner, I noticed 2 little pink, hairless mice that must've just been born. We feed our dogs from this particular container every day and I know they weren't there yesterday. I went inside and came back a few hours later. One of the older babies was gone and the mama and the others were huddled in the corner. They started hopping trying to get out so I tilted the container so they could go. I just figured they'd come back to the nest sooner or later to scoop up the newborns. This was around noon today... and I just checked on the newborns. They're still alive but there's been no sight of the other mice. Is there anything I can feed them because I'm worried they're not going to live much longer without their mom?!!

My husband ed our 5 month old!!?

Don't listen to those trying to make you accept it. I personally believe in maintaining a strict caliber of intelligence when it comes to language. Swear words are simply fillers for ignorance. Remington 870 any good?

The 870 is one of the few shotguns with 2 slide bars on them, most only have one, the police use this gun because of that. It is basically a utility gun, you don't worry about the finish on an 870, you can get a fancy one. I have mine set up with an 8 round extended mag, sling, and big recoil pad, with an 18 inch slug barrel, gotta love it. It is heavy on the recoil, not much fun on the skeet range. I have it's cousin the 1100 set up for the skeet range, i should say sporting clays. I got a new barrel for an old 1100 and turned it into a brand new, beautiful shotgun , with choke tubes, and no recoil, can shoot it all day.

My puppy tested positive for Parvo but she has no signs, what should we do?

We adopted a 15 week old lab/ pit bull puppy from the pound on August 25th, she had been at the shelter for 4 days and she had not been given any shots there. We took her straight to the vet and found out that she had worms, so she was started on dewormer, but our vet didn't want to give her shots yet since she may have contracted something in the shelter and the shots would make it harder for her to fight it. 3 days later we took her back in because she threw up worms the night before (we found that is also normal while being de-wormed.) On a whim he checked her for Parvo and she tested positive, so we started IV and antibiotics, etc. She has been on fluids and antibiotics for 2 days now and still has not shown any signs of Parvo, she is hyper and hungry. My question is when will we see signs? If don't see any signs after another day of treatment do we continue? (Its very expensive.) How do we know when she's better if she isn't showing signs? Please help!!!

You have to balance cardio with weight training. The elliptical is my favorite machine for cardio and right after that the stair master. But weights is really what's going to give you the most toning and definition. Still homesick after such a long time?

Hi, i have been living on the other side of the world for over 2 years in total now. im originally from Europe, and currently living in Australia. i am still homesick most of the time (mostly when the hormones play up, about once a month during that time of the month if you know what i mean). I have tried making friends at work, but no one is really interested. I get the impression it is so much easier making friends in my own country. I have to try a hundred times harder over here with no result, simply becaus my attemtps arent being reciprocated. The only person i can rely on here basically is my boyfriend whom i love very very much. I really miss my family, i was very close to them and family means a lot where i come from. My boyfriends family isnt very close so we hardly see anyone. The whole mentality seems so different. Its like no one really cares about family here. My nephew has cerebral palsy and they have taken away his medicaid?

My sisters husband died about 2 1/2 years ago and now that my sister gets social security they took my 14 year old nephews medicaid away? I think thats wrong how else can she be taking him to his physical therapy and getting him a bigger wheel chair if she dont have medicaid. she cant aford a private insurance and is having a very difficult time. shes the bravest women ever she shows no fear and no worries, but i know shes scared. she also works at the school with the handicaped children. and insurance is also expensive there. Is there anything she can do to get back his medicaid?

First of all I'd say you need another specialist for a second opinion. The pain in your lower left side could be diverticulitis and it's irritated by any thing with seeds or hulls in it. Break my credit card cycle?

I am trying, so trying, to do the debt snowball. My snowball seems to roll downhill, while picking up rocks and sticks! I was off work for 4 1/2 years for the first time, late in my life, due to twins. I returned to work 11 months ago, after also having wracked up like $8000 in credit cards, most of which my husband didn't know about. He knows now and I have paid of about $2400 (2 of 6 cards). A few months ago 2 of these cards were bought out, tripled rates and have like a 30% interest rate! Like I said I am in the debt snowball, but seems slow moving, as some months life happens and I can't put near as much to a the card I am working on. Any advice for moving faster and how to never do this again. The sickening part is about 10 years ago we did bankruptcy from the same type of spending, but then on both our parts. Although it took me a few years I boarded the same boat, but do not want to keep up this cycle. Any suggestions on how to stop it, I guess besides literally having NO credit cards. I do plan to and will pay these currents cards off, but want to break my cycle.

It's absolutely true. The best thing I've found to prevent the cops' and spies' bugs from hearing everything going on is to line the walls of the apartment with tin foil. (Shiny side towards the living space!) Also, by hanging many coathangers (wire kind, not plastic!) from the ceilings they'll act as interupter antennas. The tin foil will bounce sound waves, radio waves, and microwave transmissions back and forth into each other, and the wire coathangers will intercept and redirect all of this back and forth, garbling everything so the bugs can't pick it up clearly. Plus, with so many blown lightbulbs, the shiny side of the tin foil will help reflect and magnify ambient light, negating the need for many electirc light bulbs. Of course, you also need to protect your own brain from so many microwaves and radio waves bouncing around inside the apartmetn. Wearing a tin foil hat (shiny side out!) will help protect your brain. (You may want to wear some tin foil underpants too, to protect your jingles.!

What can cause my car to knock?

I have an AMC 4.2 inline 6 2bbl. i just replaced the lifters, pushrods, and arms. Just make sure you take the pic to your stylist and tell her in detail what you love(and maybe what you don't) about the hair in the pic. Do have realistic expectations, obviously your texture/thickness may be different from Ashlee Simpson, so it may look slightly different, and of course you have to flat iron your hair to make it that straight. I'm a stylist myself, so I know the kinds of things people don't generally consider when going for a look in a picture. Ok, so shouldnt rich people pay the same amount of taxes as poor people?

so i make roughly 300 million a year, and someone else makes only 30k a year. if he pays %15 in taxes he only pays roughly 3500 or so. If i pay %50 then i pay roughly 150 million or so. Wtf is wrong with this picture. I didnt work hard to get where im at to have people who are just lazy can reap the benefits. I had a tubal in Jan of this year. However, my periods are very irregular and I don't keep up with them. My last cycle was only 3-4 days and the first day of my last menstrual was on the 26th. For the past week, maybe longer, I have been having nausea, fatigue, light headedness, frequent urination, food cravings, shortness of breath, sore , hot/cold flashes, not being able to concentrate, constipation, egg white looking discharge and I have also not been wanting to have as well. Before my tubal, I had a period every 28 days that lasted for 4 days. Now, I don't cramp and have no signs of it happening. I was tested for Interstitial cystitis but it doesn't really bother me. I am managing it just fine taking 800mg ibuprofen three times a day. I also have fibromyalgia and know that this could be all in my head and could be from my conditions I have. My husband asked me the other day, after craving something he found to be odd of me craving, if I was pregnant. My sister had this cat for 14 years. She took her to the vet because the cat was breathing funny. The doctor told her there was fluid in the cats lungs nothing else. He treated her with Lasix. My wife and I both owe $75K in credit debt and we have stopped making the payments a long time ago, PLZ Help?

Here is the deal, My wife and I both owe $75k in credit card debts combined. We have stopped making the payments back in December of 08. We just couldn't afford to make the payments anymore. The reason the amount of the debt is so high is because we bought a house back in 2006 and our realtor at the time was representing both us and the seller and we got the worst part of the deal. Anyways we had to keep borrowing money from the credit cards to pay the mortgage payments on that house. We finally couldn't afford to make the mortgage payments on that house so we did a short sale in 2008. Now again we have stopped making the credit card payments since December of 2008 and we simply do not have any money. Both my wife and I are self employed and we have a vending business. However we don't make a lot of money with this business. Anyways the credit card companies have been calling us day and night and the collections have done the same thing and we don't pick up on any of them. So the other day a process server came to our door and handed us a letter telling us that we had to appear in court. Obviously one of the credit cards filed a lawsuit against us for the amount of money owed and are seeking a judgement against us. That letter was for my wife's credit card. My turn is coming pretty soon. So we are not gonna go to the court obviously. We don't have money to pay our credit cards at all. The house we live in now is in both me and my wife's name but it has gone down in value. We bought it in 2007 for $395k and now it is only worth $180k. All the furniture and stuff we have in the house has already been paid for. We are leasing the car from Honda. So we don't really have any ets in our name. All we have is the vending business. With that said, since we are not gonna pay a dime to the credit cards since we can't afford it and uming that they will get a judgement against first my wife and eventually me, what should we do here. If they do get a judgement against my wife, what can they take away? Should we file for bankruptcy? We can't afford an attorney. Dying my fake blond hair red...please help.?

You don't have to go into training to defeat the South African Soccer Team, but you should get out and take long walks every day, or take up a hobby that requires some physical effort such as tending to a garden or perhaps go fishing in the country where you have to walk a half-mile to get to the pond. You'll get some exercise, and you'll also catch some delicious fish to eat. And you won't have a refrigerator nearby filled with snacks and soft drinks! Do you think you had to buy a brand new home? I hate to say it but this is the reason you should have found a "pre-used" home. When we were looking at homes last Dec. we decided to buy a "pre-used" home over the building of a new one. The main reason wasn't the tax credit. It was just the simple fact that our home had much more to give then a newly built one, such lush landscaping, mature trees, the house had character. Are my relationship problems all in my head?

I've heard and seen evidence of situations where people (often women) seem to create conflict where otherwise there would be none. I feel like there is a great distance growing between me and my fiance and it's tearing me apart. We've stopped having regularly (we went from once a day to once a month!) because he "doesn't feel like it". Even our kisses seem different to me. Like superficial little pecks. Everything is starting to feel like we're pretending. I'm really broken up about it and I cry once or twice a day but when I bring it up to him he is shocked and says over and over that he doesn't see anything wrong with our relationship that he thinks we're just fine. It is sort of making me feel like I'm mentally unbalanced or something. I am having such strong emotions and receiveing these really painful vibes and he doesn't even notice?
